Premise Capital is a privately-owned firm led by Senior Portfolio Manager Jason Rolence, CFA®, and Britton H. Reynolds, Portfolio Manager, and a team of veteran investment professionals and support staff.

Senior Portfolio Manager

Jason has been in the financial industry for over 18 years working in quantitative investment analysis, portfolio management, and trading algorithm development. He has the distinction of being a CFA® charter holder and is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Chicago. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. degree, with a major in Finance.

Britton H. Reynolds

Britton H. Reynolds
Portfolio Manager

Britton began working closely with Jason on the design and implementation of client portfolios in 2010 at The Reynolds Group (now Premise Capital®). He has also been involved in the creation of the Premise models and methodology and brings a wide breadth of knowledge of the financial services field. He earned his B.S. degree in economics from Florida Southern College.

Jacob Hutchinson, AIF®

Jacob Hutchinson, AIF®
Managing Director

Jacob is primarily responsible for working with advisory firms and investors to understand combining strategic and tactical asset allocation as they assess Premise Capital and its investment strategies. In addition, Jacob focuses on brand development and sales and marketing strategy for the firm. Jacob brings 13 years of investment industry experience with firms including Goldman Sachs, Edward Jones and Cedar Capital, focusing his efforts on the management and distribution of strategic, alternative, tactical and flexible mandate investment solutions for institutions, family offices, private clients and their financial advisors. Jacob received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS from University of Wisconsin–Madison. He also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary, AIF®, designation.

Gery Sadzewicz

Chief Compliance Officer

Gery Sadzewicz is a highly skilled Securities Compliance Officer who has worked with many clients such as, Ernst & Young, Koch, Industries, Oppenheimer & Co., and Walt Disney, just to name a few. Gery provides hands on experiences in the realm of broker deals, and investment advisers. His expertise includes but is not limited to ; private equity, investment banking, IT platforms, and wealth management.

Matthew West

Matthew West, MBA

Matthew West has over 18 years of experience in the financial advisory industry providing M&A advisory, capital markets, corporate finance, and investment banking services to a diverse client base, including corporations, financial institutions, financial sponsors, hedge funds, and private equity groups in the Americas and across the globe.

Mr. West holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. In addition, Mr. West earned a Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Taxation from St. Louis University. Mr. West is also an accredited senior member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), in the business valuation discipline and in intangible asset valuation.

George Logemann

George Logemann
Director of Operations

George is a financial technology and operations professional with more than 25 years of experience at firms including Citadel, Greenwich NatWest, and Bank of New York. He focuses on implementing technology for model development, analysis, and automation. George earned his B.S. degree in Computer Science from University of Massachusetts.

Scott, senior partner at Sentinus, has the accumulated knowledge and experience of more than 38 years in the financial industry. Scott consistently earns corporate and industry recognition, honors and the respect of his peers as one of the company's top planners, making him a perfect fit for the Premise Capital Advisory board. He holds industry designations of CLU® and ChFC® in addition to professional licensing in securities, advising and insurance. Scott values his time with his wife Deb, his family and is an active outdoorsman.

Tyler Qualio, JD*, CFP®

Currently a partner at Sentinus, Tyler's knowledge and experience in the area of financial planning, coupled with his communication skills and legal training is a perfect fit for Premise Captial. With corporate recognition for success during his 10-year tenure with Lincoln Financial Advisor, he also holds industry designations as a CFP® in addition to professional licensing in securities, advising and insurance. Active in his community, Tyler is Vice President on the Board of Directors for Lamb's Fold Center for Women and Children as well as member of other boards. Tyler enjoys time with his wife and two daughters, Chase and Macki, traveling and golf.

Lee S Selander

Lee S. Selander

As a retired Executive VP of The Northern Trust Company, Lee's 33 year career has touched on all aspects of financial services. His work as Head of the Institutional Client Service business represented a $1 billion revenue stream to overall corporate performance. He is also on the incoming Board Chair of Augustana College. He brings not only his extensive financial experience to Premise, but also his service on multiple boards including Morton Arboretum as Chair of Governance and Board Chair of Samaritan Interfaith Counseling Center.

Brian Marshall

Brian Marshall

Brian has nearly three decades of experience in producing dramatic business results for all types of companies. He has co-founded a management consulting firm, and in his role as Chief Information Officer at Westell Technologies, Brian received an AITP Chicago "CIO of the Year" Award in 2000. He is a serial entrepreneur and now, an important addition to Premise. He is father to 4 children and, along with his wife, proud grandparents as well.

Katarinna McBride

Katarinna McBride

Currently counsel for Harrison & Held, LLP for advanced transfer-tax strategies, Katarinna has served on the advisory board for Illinois Masters in Estate Planning and is a featured tax expert for multiple news stations including Fox, ABC, NBC and CBS. Now on the advisory board at Premise, she brings with her a vast knowledge of tax, family office and estate planning counsel as well as her expertise and excellence in trust and estate planning. She lives in Chicago with her husband and two sons.

Charles B. Grace

Charles B. Grace

Charles (Chip) is a founder and Partner of May River Capital, LLC, a Chicago-based private equity investment firm and assists in the overall management of the firm. Prior to forming May River in 2012, he was a Principal and Managing Director at Wynnchurch Capital, a Chicago based middle market private equity firm for eleven years. He is a member of the board of directors of Hi-Tech Holdings, LLC and Treasurer and board member of No Greater Sacrifice Foundation and he brings his many years of experience to Premise Capital. Chip lives with his wife and two children in Lake Bluff, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago.
